Geocaching In and Around Lund (the LundBC Cachers)

In and around Lund you will find eighteen geocaches which have been hidden by the LundBC Cachers. Eight Water Based, eight Land Based and two Land/Water Based Geocaches can be found in the finest locations in this area. Geocaching is a fun activity for families, travelers and residents.

The Land Based Geocaches can be found on the trail systems in and around Lund. You’ll have a choice, an easy stroll or a more challenging hike. The Water Based Geocaches can be found on islands in the Salish Sea and in Desolation Sound. You’ll need a kayak or a boat to get to these treasures. The Land/Water Based Geocaches can be found on Savary Island. Water transport to Savary is already in place but you might want to bring your bike. All of these caches can be found individually, so you can spend a couple of hours or up to a couple of days hunting for geocaches.

The eight Water Based and the two Land/Water Based Geocaches form a puzzle. Find these ten geocaches and email the ten clues, which you’ll find inside the notebooks, to info@footprint-natureexplorations.ca or info@sevillaislandresort.ca and you’ll receive the coordinates for a Water Based Bonus Cache. This Water Based Bonus Cache contains a Travel Bug and a First to Find Card Game.

Also, the eight Land Based and the two Land/Water Based Geocaches form a puzzle too. Find these ten geocaches and email the ten clues, which you’ll find inside the notebooks, to info@footprint-natureexplorations.ca or info@sevillaislandresort.ca and you’ll receive the coordinates for a Land Based Bonus Cache. This Land Based Bonus Cache contains a Travel Bug and a First to Find Card Game.

You’ll find all of the coordinates and information you need to get to these geocaches on www.geocaching.com . Search for caches from lundbc: LCS Water Based, LCS Land Based and LCS Water/Land Based caches on this website.

Note (August 9, 2009): The Water Based Puzzle (10 caches) is already in place and active on www.geocaching.com . The Land Based Puzzle is ‘under construction’ at this moment.
